The hills of sand

The hills of sand
Quick to stand, quicker to fall
And the phone begs you to receive the call
Your body aches, mind endlessly calculates
The sums of sorrow, the differences from past
What things have tumbled down, what have last
But like the shadows casted due to atom bombs
Some things you can't take off, son
So till there is light in the sky
And the sand hills are still high
You don't need to frown, no need to lie
Because there are still a few
Who are needed to brought back to life
Still a few to be shown what's there out of strife
And when you see them coming along
Hope for a good thing
And move on.

The pain is old, the pain has grown
The string that slipped from my hand
The balloon that had flown
When the opportunity passes without giving a chance
When you couldn't even take a glance
The fruits from your tree looted
Then the tree is itself uprooted
For the trespasser, you don't need to run
No need to pinch the brain, no waiting for your turn
Because you know the tiny seconds multiply into years
So will your anger, so will your fears
Why fool around when you have the whole orchard to take care
As I look above, I see the balloon watching me
Telling me about what's there left to meet
And even when you've rubbed your eyes red
For hundreds of seconds
And if you still feel awakened
The hope has worked for you son
So, well done.
